My first gunpla was a bootleg lol. I only realized it by the third kit when I started actually doing research lol. I also used my hands and scissors and sometimes my mom's nail nippers

been sitting on a bandi sachiel kit for a year so this was really helpful for me to finally make it

Hi, just got into Gunpla recently. I’m at my third kit by now so I think I got the basics down pretty much, but this vid has been really informative. Water decals seem a little less scary now thanks to you.

I know this is an older video but a lot of the hg kits now. Especially from Gundam Witch are really great in terms of quality and have basically no color correcting stickers. HG aerials all look phenomenal. Also, my very first kit was an RG and it certainly was a trip. I wish I had done more research first lol

Do they usually come with stands, or is that something i should buy in addition?

I nowadays compared to when I was in middle school, I no longer build HG gundam kits anymore, nor will I ever build Mega size gundams, I want more coomplex build models kits with at least complex inner frame, like more modern day Master Grades, and the entirely of Real Grade and Perfect Grade kits. My favorite of these grades are definitely the Perfect Grades because I felt better off building PG kits than most kits anyway. second Favorite the MGEX, and third Favorite to build is the Ver Ka kits

Been into the hobby for a few years since watching this video. I still highly recommend for newcomers to grab some hobby safe glue (like Mr.Hobby) just in case you break a part by complete accident. Trust me those V-Fins can be super fragile depending on kit

Wish I watched this a couple years ago, ended up with the RG Wing Gundam Zero EW as my first kit. I think I used an exacto knife and the wire cutters on a pair of pliers to get the pieces off the runners

Ngl, while it does indeed look cleaner is gonna require alot of extra work and maybe a steady hand, it's gonna be especially more annoying on models with loads of sticker decals, yes am looking at you Full Armor Unicorn.

Definitely didn't buy the MG Zeta Ver.Ka kit as my first kit and now panicking as I figure out how the hell do I put this thing together..

I remember my first gundam, the old classic RX-78-2, used some random scissors, if I never found that in that one target I wouldn’t have one of my favorite collections I own.

I ended up raw dogging it and getting a real grade unicorn, turned out great (i dropped a leg piece and vanished into the void so i had to buy that specific piece from a third party site). But man fuck those stickers i dont think the yellow V is ever getting them😅

I have been into Gundam Gunpla just a couple of weeks ago. You forgot entry grade Gundam's NIce video and it's very good for a beginner.

To anyone that wants to start this hobby. Stop.. i warned you. Your first would have no turning point next thing you know you have gunpla filled all your shelves and the boxes clutter your unused room
